Day 2
The second day is where I found paradise!
We left the hotel and went to the seaside to take a speedboat to a little island, Gili Island.
I tell you, there is no other place like this.
This little island, you can tour it by cycling in 1.5 hours. Walk perhaps by 2.5 hours?
But it is a pretty small place.
The food is awesome, the ambiance is awesome, very relax.
This is really a good place for you to relax and chill during the holidays.
Not many people, not very crowded as I went before Christmas.
I went snorkeling, swimming, in the big ocean and the sea is CLEAR.
You can even see salt water fishes near the shallow water.
It is amazing, to get so close and near to the fishes, to nature.
Being in the ocean, it sounds a little dangerous, but once you are in there,
you are feast with the pretty fishes and corals in the ocean and forget about other things.
Feeding the fishes is the best part of snorkeling. :)
On this island, there are no cars, there are only horse carts.
People will travel around the island either by bike, foot or by the horsecarts.
I don't really like sitting on these horse carts as the owners will whip them and they are pretty scary.
So I would rather cycle, or walk. But this island is really amazing.
Do visit Gili Island when you have time, you won't regret. :)
